Scarborough Lions would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our recent evening with medium Dona Bell. It was a fantastic event, filled with laughter, emotion and some very special moments.
Our utmost gratitude goes to Dona Bell, who has once again generously supported Scarborough Lions. Dona, you are a true friend of the Lions, and we cannot thank you enough for your continued kindness and support. It really does mean a great deal to us.
A big thank you also goes to all our Scarborough Lions members and volunteers who gave their time to organise and run another successful fundraising event, and to the Rugby Club team and bar staff for helping us set everything up and for looking after our guests so well throughout the evening.
But most importantly, thank you to everyone who came along and supported us. Whether you laughed, cried, joined in, bought a tombola ticket – or perhaps did all four! – you helped make the evening such a success raising over £1,000.
Every penny of profit raised from the event goes into the Scarborough Lions charity fund, which we use to support local people, charities, community groups and good causes here in the Scarborough area.
Events like this are about much more than fundraising. They’re about bringing people together, having a great evening and, at the same time, making a real difference within our community.
