It was a beautiful day at the Scalby Fair, Scarborough. The weather could not have been kinder, very warm and sunny. Just what you need for a successful summer fair. This is a great community event which we love taking part in. Thanks to everyone who took part in our bottle stall, from setting it up the previous day, taking down on the evening and the all important looking after the bottles and tickets. Every pound helps the local community.
It was officially opened by the Scarborough legend Danny Wilde. If you haven’t seen his stage act you’ve missed a treat. Thank you ‘Seaside Danny Wilde’.
Thanks also to all the Scalby Fair committee, organisers, and hard working volunteers who make such a brilliant event work year after year. It was even bigger this year too.
